Thanksgiving DinnerS

Sooooooo, it was thanksgiving ... 2days ago. Yes~
On the day itself i went to the pastor's house ( i call him FanBaba, funny yes.... =P)
That was the Family Celebration. The next day i went AGAIN. Yep, this time it was the Teens Celebration.

It was really cool. There were lots of awesome food. (only they left out the Stuffing and Cranberry Sauce!! T_T) *Sigh* owell.... anyways.... It IS a Chinese Church anyways.

So the Adults, Mommies, Dadas and so on, sang songs and did their sharing and stuff like that.

The teens on the other hand, were playing Wii!!!!! wooohooo!!! it rocks!!!!
It was sooooooo fun. (not to mention FUNNY!!) We were taking turns and played like mad. Haha omg you ppl shud've seen my sister play. Especially the boxing game. She was moving her hands, body, legs, even HEAD, like crazy. We all know that you'll only win if you move the Wii controler. But no~~ my sis HAD to move her WHOLE body.

She was like moving like mad right? and everyone around her was like backing off. They didn't wana get hit by her. This proved WISE. Why? cuz, While she was in the middle of "boxing" one of the Wii controlers flew OUT of her hands. OMG... hahaha every one was stunned. lolz

NOTE: (to everyone.) Do NOT allow hyper active/ over-excited kids play Wii. You never know when the controller will go FLYING ... wheeeeeee.... out of their hands..... lolz

So day 2!

Back at Fanbaba's house.
This time it was much cooler~ much much cooler!! Why? Cuz all the YOUNG people are there! Hola!! Yes this means ranging from an age group of 9 - 19.

Well i must admit i had a good time then too. We ate alot too~ We didn't get to play Wii though =( Then came the time we gathered around to share our thoughts and thanks. Everyone spoke in Mandarin. Except for me and this other gal Athena. >.<

It was really emotional for me. I shared that i was thankful for my time in Malaysia and all those stuff and people i have back there. And i felt like i had left a lot behind. 11years. I had left 11 years behind.

11years of friends, family, relationship, food, culture, familiarity there's alot to list.........

yeah, and i was crying and sharing. I know i cry alot nowadays..........


but you know what? overall..... i had an awesome time ^.^

the 0DD things i see

So... i haven't exactly been posting... but anyways.....

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! =)
It's the 3rd Thursday of November!! Yes also the 22nd Nov.

Oh!! that reminds me. HAPPY BIRTHDAY WEISHAN!!!! =) haha


So .. things have been okay lately, but i can't help but notice the weird things here.

So, there's like homeless people all over the place here right?
So one day my mom went to buy some food. I stayed in the car and waited for her. Then suddenly i could hear some kinda noise. It sounded like someone throwing up in pain. I looked out my window and saw this skinny old man.

I think he's homeless. He was like BONE skinny and was wearing really really worn out clothes. Anyways, he was holding this metal tin can. (You know the Milo Tin Cans? yeah those)
He was standing in the dirt and he was scrapping the dirt with it. I had no clue to what he was doing. But anyways he scrapes the ground and then looks into it. Then he pours the dirt out. Then he scrapes the ground again.

This time instead of pouring out the dirt he starts eating it. 0.O ewwwwww it was soOOOOooo gross!!! He does it over and over again and kept making the puking noise.
OMG i felt like puking too.....................................

Well that's just plain gross and wierd.

Besides that, there are Hispanics (Mexican/ Latino) men that stand around the sidewalk all day long. My dad told me that they stand around waiting for someone to come up to them and offer them a job. Well not a fantastic job to work in the office DUH! you know those labor jobs. Digging, construction work and such. Yeah, I forgot what they're called but owell~~

There's alot more.... but i'm too lazy to list it all out. lolz

Back to School Night

So its the 10-week grades have come out and there was ANOTHER "Back to School Night". (That was on Thursday night.) I was really happy with my grades.

My previous grades (5-week grades) were : 4- A's & 2- B's

Well this time (10-week grades), I got 5- A's & 1 B (muahahaha!! =D )

• AP European History - B
• Adv. PE - A
• Honors English - A
• Mandarin - A
• Honors Chemistry - A
• Algebra II - A

In a way, I am really proud of myself, but I'm gonna try to get STRAIGHT As and improve on everything else. =) Yeah~

Msian bdays

I've been really homesick and my birthday.... it just sucked.

Back in Malaysia i'd have my aunts and friends.
This year, its so so so different. I'm in the States. I have friends and my family. No aunts. No best friends. None of all my loved ones besides my direct family. Sigh.

On top of that, i just kept crying throughout the day. The night before my birthday, my birthday morning, almost cried in church, and i cried my self to sleep. When i woke up today, my eyes were all swollen and red. Honestly, i have never cried on my birhtday before.

I didn't really get much presents this year, but i don't really mind. WHY? cuz the only thing i want is to go back to Malaysia. I don't really have any wants besides that.

I'd love to thank Bernadette who remembered my birthday. =) She gave me A LOT of candy! haha *SWEET*! plus this LOVELY PURPLE HOMEMADE BRACELET!
OMG!! i just kept hugging her when she gave me the present. I also got a card from my aunts!! =D It had all these encouraging thoughts from them and I just felt like crying. I miss them so much. No present but i don't care. I love their words of encouragements.

Yeah, I kept thinking and wishing that my birthday present was a ticket in my hand back home to Malaysia. Yeah i know. Its like "DREAM ON!!"

*sigh*

It feels really depressing and when i cried. I could feel my whole body turn cold. My nose was like useless. I couldn't breathe. My eyes were just full of tears. My mind was just flooded with memories.

So its my Birthday!! yay!! I'm another year older. Which is AWESOME and not so awesome. hahaha.

So I got like.... 3 presents so far. haha there's more..... ( i hope >.<)

I didn't do anything special really.

• went to church
• came home
• hanged at home
• watched Ghost Rider.... which was O.K. i guess
• got the Twins (Vicky&Becky) to come over and hang out~
• tried to look for Jenna (will explain who she is further down)
• went back to my place.. MAKAN!!! (eat)
• went online
• and now here i am blogging .. haha

well tht's my birthday....... it was mild... relaxing... yeah~

Besides THAT~ i went to a football game yesterday.

Honestly it was overall boring to me.

• Firstly, I don't know the rule of the game
• Secondly, I sitting on the benches for 5hours is not excatly my definition of "FUN"
• Thirdly, I don't like the atmosphere of shouting people.
• Fourthly, my butt hurts after sitting for 5hours

So, its Saturday morning. My mom, bro, sis and I walked to the elementry school. So, my sis' teacher organized this event to watch this university named UCLA compete against this university from Arizona ASU. Which was really cool~ i was looking forward to it. (kinda)

anyways.... we got there and there were like quite alot of people there. Mostly 4th graders and their families and SOME 6th graders. So we waited for about 15mins for the bus. During those 15mins i just stood around until i saw my classmate.

Micheal. He's in my AP European History class & English. Which is pretty cool. He was really quiet. So, i didnt really talk to him.

AND i didnt just see Micheal. I saw Jenna too!! OMG!! I couldn't believe she lived SO CLOSE BY!!!! like 6 houses away from me!!!! and We go to the same school. ( no same classes) We have PE in the same period. 2nd period. hehehe

So i went over talked to her and she showed me where she lived and i showed her where i lived. AweSOMEEEE!!!

Anyways the bus ride was okay~

When we got to the place.....the bus parked and then like 2 of these UCLA students came up and started teaching us this cheer. It went like this :

So there...... honestly... i'm just NOT a crazy football fan so..........

when i got to the stadium... i was just awed by how people could sit on their butts for 5hours, eat, go crazy about a ball flying around and guys ruuning into each other.

I tried to get into the "FootBall Sprit" (quote quote) unfortunately i'm no fan. So i sat there, sleepy, bored, unmotivated, dull..... you can keep listing it.... and yeah kept staring at the footballers. So i couldn't stand it anymore and started asking my mom how the game was played. So she explained to me what she still remembered. LOL

So we watched and she explained...

(man** even talking about it is boring me.....)

I only looked forward to the game ENDING!!! so when the game ended i was SO HAPPY!!!! plus my butt felt flat and it hurt. hehe
